The Second Regional Seminar for the Asia-Pacific Regional Parliaments on Achieving the SDGs will be held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from May 27-28. The seminar will be jointly organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Great State Hural of Mongolia and is part of a series of IPU regional seminars worldwide on SDGs implementation.
The Seminar will follow up on the conclusions of the first seminar held in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam in 2017 and will aim to further define the opportunities and challenges facing parliaments in the Asia-Pacific region in exercising their role in SDGs implementation.
