The Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation organized the 22nd Eurasian Economic Summit in Pullman Istanbul Airport Hotel & Convention Center located in Istanbul, Turkey from February 6-7.

 

The summit brought together high-ranking state and government officials, former presidents, members of parliaments, representatives of international organizations, public and political figures from nearly 40 countries.

 

This year, the event was held under the slogan “the Development of Technology and the Future of Humanity: Responsibility for the Future”. The summit explored a wide range of issues, including the role of artificial intelligence in the realms of energy and economy, impact of religion on the advancement of technology, water access and cooperation in health, implementation of the “One Belt-One Road” roadmap on a global scale, and dimensions of populist debates in shaping the future.

 

President of Mamara Group Foundation Akkan Suver, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Binali Yildirim, President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Marinko Cavara, President of Macedonia Gjorge Ivanov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Hasanov and other distinguished speakers spoke at the event.

 

From the MSEAP member countries, 18 were represented in the event*, namely Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Macedonia, Mongolia, Russia, Slovenia, Tajikistan, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Qatar.
